According to a report by Newsweek, published on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Hunter Biden’s legal defense faces significant challenges as overwhelming evidence of his drug addiction emerges in court, legal analysts say.

The revelations came after the jury heard excerpts from the audio version of Biden’s memoir, where he admitted to being addicted to crack cocaine for four years, including the period during which he purchased a firearm from a Delaware gun shop.

Los Angeles-based trial attorney David Ring expressed his concerns to Newsweek, stating, “The evidence appears to be overwhelming that he was using illegal drugs.

“And was an addict at the time he purchased a firearm and lied on the application about his drug use.” Ring added, “Biden is in trouble.”

Court records filed on Monday indicate that prosecutors possess photos of Biden with a crack pipe and a video of him weighing out crack cocaine, taken just over a month after he purchased the gun.

  1. Hunter Biden is certainly guilty, but he will not be convicted. His legal team is portraying him as a tragic figure, addicted through no fault of his own and deserving sympathy. That’s why Jill and other family members attend the trial whenever possible. Abbe Lowell wants the jurors to think of his poor family members and the travail imposed on the family if he is found guilty.
