Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, recently obtained 88 pages of records from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) through a lawsuit against the Department of Justice (DOJ).
According to Judicial Watch on Thursday May 2, 2024, those records shed new light on the events of January 6, 2021, when a mob stormed the U.S. Capitol.
According to the documents, the CIA deployed personnel to Washington, DC, on that day.
The records, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, include emails and other communications between ATF officials regarding the deployment of ATF personnel in response to the events of January 6.
Among these communications are references to the CIA’s deployment of personnel to the capital on that day.
The presence of CIA personnel in Washington, DC, on January 6 raises questions about the extent of the intelligence community’s involvement in the events of that day.
The CIA is the nation’s premier psy-ops organization. If they were there, it wasn’t just to observe.
