The Consumer Price Index — which tracks the changes in the costs of everyday goods and services — noted surging prices for everything from gasoline to housing to car insurance.

Used to pull $100 per week from bank; had to kick it up to $140 past few months to get same items. I’m a thrifty buyer and live a splurge-free lifestyle. My kids are grown and self-supporting with their own homes. I don’t know how those with families are making it.
