Browns star Elijah Moore should retire after his horror head injury that left the wide receiver appearing to convulse on the turf.
That’s according to Dr Bennet Omalu, the pathologist who is credited with discovering Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy in former NFL players.
Moore was released from hospital on Friday after he was left twitching involuntarily on the ground before being ruled out of Thursday night’s win over the Jets with concussion.
Moore appeared to hit the ground face down after being tackled by CJ Mosely and, as cameras captured him lying on his back, his arms and hands seemed to scarily jolt up into the air.
Omalu – the inspiration behind the Will Smith movie ‘Concussion’ – told TMZ he would advise the Browns WR to retire.
