Good morning y’all,
The wife has a few last minute errands for me to shuttle her to for Christmas prep, including the tenderloin from the butcher (thanks Eric) and the crab so the steak Oscar is set for the big dinner tomorrow. Candlelight church service after that and home to retire early. Christmas will be all the grands under one roof, and the semi controlled chaos after that is sure to be quite the spectacle! The Christmas brunch will be overwhelming and only outdone by the Christmas Day turkey. Ah, so many meals, and so little time! No nap this weekend, but I’m anticipating my wife and I enjoying the fireplace after the family leaves for our own little happy hour and recovery period.
