The elites mock you as they enjoy their galas, and concerts, and awards shows.
America becomes more and more like a communist sh*thole every day under dementia Joe and Dr. Jill, his handler. Those in power hold lavish parties and celebrate while the working serfs toil away for their few morsels and worry about how they are going to pay their bills.
On Sunday night Joe and Dr. Jill attended the 44th Kennedy Center honors. This year Dionne Warwick, Billy Crystal, Queen Latifah, opera singer Renee Flaming and music star Barry Gibb were honored at the posh gala.
Meanwhile, the peasants outside face higher crime rates and greater homelessness.
Joe,
When are you going to start covering LOCAL “SBY News” again??? At least get someone local to help you do Local SBY News.
A $4 Million dollar grant to a developer for a conference center?? The last time I checked Salisbury already has a conference center. It’s called the Wicomico County Civic Center. If Salisbury needs a “conference center” then work out a deal with the county instead of making some private developer rich!! Carl Anderton and Andy Kitzrow are thieves. Randy Taylor is a big disappointment for keeping Kitzrow in that position of City Administrator! Any Delegate or Senator that voted for this silly grant can be ready for a Primary opponent in 2026. And now John Tull as the Deputy Director of Administration. I can’t believe we wasted our votes on Randy Taylor!! That won’t happen again, that is a guaranteed promise from the Republican Party!!
Salisbury Defends Grant After Pushback from Neighbors
SALISBURY, Md.- Some neighbors in Salisbury are not sold on a $4 million grant the city accepted for its project at lot 10.
The city is looking to transform lot 10 into a convention center, hotel, apartments and a shopping center. For years the city says it’s been working to secure a state grant for the project. Delegate Carl Anderton says this was an important project for his colleagues in Annapolis to approve.
“Most thriving metropolitan areas have conference centers, convention center so they can host events that bring in economic dollars,” said Anderton.
Anderton and Salisbury City Administrator Andy Kitzrow say since this grant was approved by the state delegation for the lot 10 project, the money cannot be used elsewhere. But some neighbors who spoke out during public comment say there are issues the city should be spending their money on.
“Why then should 4 million dollars in infrastructure grant fund to the city be used to benefit a private developer over a multitude of city infrastructure needs,” said one Salisbury resident.
“As I work in infrastructure, and 4 million dollars going for infrastructure, I need to hear something being said about the lead & copper rule revision and what you guys are going to do about that. How that is affecting the health of our citizens,” said another Salisbury resident.
Kitzrow says this spending is a done deal.
“There is not really an opportunity to divert it towards different infrastructure projects because this is what we asked for and this is what they funded,” said Kitzrow.
Kitzrow said the city welcomes all public comment and input, certainly on any developing projects.
