PNC Bank is announcing more branch closures.
The closures are expected to happen in February, a PNC spokesperson told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4. Nineteen branches in all are set to close.
Four branches in Illinois, three in Texas, two in Alabama and New Jersey, and one each in Ohio, Florida and Indiana will be closing. Five of the sites closing are in Pennsylvania, including one locally.
The New Castle branch on North Mill Street is set to close along with the other 18 branches in February.
PNC said it in cases of closures, the bank transitions “clients to new branches that are, on average, just 7 minutes or 3 miles away from the consolidated branch.”
