Former President Donald Trump is vetting tens of thousands of people for government jobs and is ready with an agenda to go on day one if he is re-elected to a second term in the White House, according to a report.
During Trump’s first term, he took flak from some conservatives for being surrounded by in his inner circle people whose views did not appear to align with his agenda.

A political newcomer when he won the 2016, Trump ran the country for four years and is now mounting his third bid for the presidency as a tested political veteran.
According to Axios, Trump’s closest advisers have already begun vetting people to put in jobs at all levels of government in order to prevent the people who are currently in those roles from undermining him.
Citing sources close to Trump, the outlet reported:
“Hundreds of people are spending tens of millions of dollars to install a pre-vetted, pro-Trump army of up to 54,000 loyalists across government to rip off the restraints imposed on the previous 46 presidents.”
He will need to replace all GS-12 and above as well as the entire SES personnel in every agency.
Granted, he could simply reduce the staffing by 50% and things would get better anyway…
Simply cutting staff by half wouldn’t work because the government would come to a screeching halt!
No no no. He cannot touch career civil servants, who are protected by title 5 and title 10 of the United States Code and Code of Fededal regulations.
Political appointees who could be GS class as well as SES will be his picks. His cabinet, His secs of Def, commerce,interior, state, etc….those folks deputies and underlings, white house west wing staff, vice prez staff, but both also have career civil servants who could continue. Most dont and move on with a nice reference on their resumes.
Sorry, not that easy to get rid of slow walkers and those retired in place. There are other non conventional ways to move those folks along or make life miserable. Juat need a super with a backbone.
