Former Colts Super Bowl champion offensive lineman Matt Ulrich dead at 41

Former Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman and Super Bowl champion Matt Ulrich died at the age of 41, according to Colts owner Jim Irsay.

“I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of Matt Ulrich,” Irsay posted on X on Wednesday morning. “Matt was with us only two seasons, but left his mark on many.  Great guy, I hear he was a great dad—and he was a Super Bowl champ. My prayers to his family. .”

Ulrich signed with the Colts as an undrafted agent and played for them from 2005-06, winning a Super Bowl ring following Indianapolis’ win over the Bears in Super Bowl XLI.
