Ocean City’s natural viewshed is in danger of being destroyed and lost forever. The proposed wind farms off the coast of Ocean City will be visible from our beachfront – impacting all residents, property owners and visitors.
See for yourself, this rendering was provided by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM).
BOEM is holding a public hearing tomorrow evening at 5 p.m. at Ocean City Elementary School for their draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
This is your chance to be heard. We only have one chance to do this, so we need to do it right.

That looks gorgeous. Who wouldn’t want to see that improvement to our beautiful view out to sea? Obviously I’m not serious. What a disgusting and disgraceful development. For what? Electricity? How about we just use less of what we already have capacity for? I guess real conservation is unimaginable. We always just want MORE OF EVERYTHING.
Electric vehicles are being pushed on us 9:30. The electricity has to come from somewhere.
The sidebar states it’s a simulation folks, meaning not real
