The sweep of a Marion, Kan., paper was nothing less than an assault on the First Amendment.
The small town’s police department raided the offices of the Marion County Record, the local family-owned newspaper.
It seized the paper’s computers. The chief ripped a reporter’s cellphone out of her hand, injuring her finger.
Cops even rummaged through the family’s home, snapping pictures of their bank-account information.
Then outrage turned into heartbreak. The day after she suffered the local police ransacking her newspaper and home, Joan Meyer, the 98-year-old co-owner of the Marion County Record, passed away.
so you want us to be concerned about the fact the government took you on? where were you when the government attempted to lock us down? make us wear masks? pushed their people killing vaccines? Think we were left to our own devices while you the press raked in millions if not billions from the same government to push their propaganda!
Go cry me a river you lying corrupt bastards!
First Amendment is there for a reason.
They should sue everyone involved for every last nickel; issuing judge, all cops and the woman who put them up to this. I hope some of the 1A defense organizations help.
Just an outrage!
This is EXACTLY why we should all question the entrenched and entitled ESTABLISHMENT that seeks to vanquish the FREE PRESS to preserve their self-serving and assumed entitlements. The whole Republic is full of them. Trump and Biden alike are among them. They seek to do nothing for us but promote their Narrsacistic fantasies of power and divide the NATION into a cult of Mediated Personalities as if they are Kardashians.
