Prosecutors oppose Mosby’s trial move request, accusing her of conjuring media storm

In the latest court filing in the case against former Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, federal prosecutors said the court should not move the trail based on the publicity that her former attorneys attracted to the case.

“This Court should not allow the defendant to conjure a storm and then complain her roof is leaking,” prosecutors said in today’s filing.

Mosby was indicted in January 2022. She is accused of perjury and making false mortgage applications relating to the purchases of two vacation homes in Florida. Mosby has maintained her innocence.

  1. She’s a well paid liberal attorney being represented by well paid liberal attorneys, so expect lots of legal maneuvers and wasted (but totally billable) hundreds of hours.
