Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has urged House Republicans to avoid impeaching President Joe Biden.
Speaking to the New York Times in an interview published Tuesday, McConnell said that he does not want to continue the impeachment cycle that Democrats started two years ago when they impeached former President Trump on dubious charges.
“I said two years ago, when we had not one but two impeachments, that once we go down this path it incentivizes the other side to do the same thing,” McConnell said.
Trump is certainly no saint, and I’m pretty sure he has more than bent a few rules. The difference here is that he has his “stuff” together and always had making it easier for his attorneys to defend him. But Biden is an out and out train wreck and real proof is coming to light (how many shell companies were found, and why would you need them in the first place unless you were hiding things?). The 20MM is just staggering as is the slime influence peddling. Biden is an embarrassment.
Mitch is a traitor and should be hung for treason along with a couple dozen more of his cohorts.
