Trump Hits Back at Pence: ‘No Crowds, Enthusiasm, or Loyalty’

Donald Trump called out his onetime vice president, Mike Pence, for lacking loyalty Wednesday after he trashed the former president during a Fox News interview.

Pence had told Fox’s Martha MacCallum earlier in the day that Trump surrounded himself with “crackpot lawyers” after the 2020 election, causing his reckless behavior amid the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riots.

On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump sounded off on those claims and targeted Pence for “attracting no crowds, enthusiasm, or loyalty” in his 2024 Republican presidential candidacy.

  1. Judas pence stabbed the only man who can save America in the back. He is a disgraceful cowardly excuse for a man and a traitor to his country.

  2. Pence had legitimate requests from several state legislatures about how electors from their states had been certified. All he needed to do is refer those disputed electors back to those state legislatures for resolution and then proceed when they sent him the same or amended electors. He was not in a position to change any vote but was supposed to manage/preside over the process. He took and followed bad advice.

He should enjoy his retirement, family and outside interests. He’d been a fine VP to that point. Too bad, so sad.
