- Per year, the average household spends $1,458 on cable & internet, 26% higher than the U.S. yearly average of $1,161.
- Per month, the average household spends $150 on Cable & Internet bills, which is 28% higher than the U.S. monthly average of $118.
- The average amount spent on Cable and Internet in Maryland is $131.
- 81% of households in Salisbury pay for cable & internet on a monthly basis.
- Salisbury residents spend $2,123 a month, or $25,471 a year on the ten most essential household bills which is 3.7% higher than the national average of $2,046.

Just shows that Comcast has a government controlled lock on the area. A little competition would help the consumers..
Wicomico should never have taken the kickback and given Comcast a monopoly in the area. We are all paying a higher cost because of that. But at least the Board of Ed gets a free connection..
