SALISBURY, Md. – A portion of Glen Avenue (from St. Albans Drive to Civic Avenue) will be closed on the following times/dates:
- Wednesday, May 24 from 4-10 p.m. for Salisbury University Commencement
- Thursday, May 25 from 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. for Salisbury University Commencement
- Sunday, May 28 from 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. for Hoops on the Ave.
The road closures will allow for safe pedestrian crossing.

I was just at Acme and the usual “homeless” were gathered around the liquor store. One of them approached me. Before she could say anything I said to her “thank you for checking with me, I just got out of there burn unit at the hospital. Can you spare any change so I can get some food?” She immediately just turned back around and walked away. What a surprise. Praise the Lord. God bless.
