Biden picks severely biased group to teach journalists to be unbiased

Organization’s history includes colluding with SPLC to attack conservatives

It was the Poynter Institute that infamously partnered with the extremists at Southern Poverty Law Center just a few years ago to list allegedly “unreliable” conservative news sources.

It was caught and shortly later apologized and pulled the list, claiming there was a “weakness” in the methodology.

Poynter, a journalism nonprofit, spent a long time then trying to get out from under a “flood” of complaints about bias in its agenda.

Now it is that “liberal journalism academy” that has been chosen by the Biden administration to teach reporters how to be “balanced and bias-free.”

A report at the Washington Free Beacon explains a federal spending database shows Poynter held a training course with reporters as part of a contract with the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which oversees Voice of America and other government news agencies.

It was paid $23,500 for the course.
