A Viewer Writes: Wicomico County New Curriculum

Wicomico County is choosing a woke curriculum to  indoctrinate our students starting at age 5.  Are these politically driven agendas really our priority or should kindergarten students be focusing on learning their ABC’s?  This ” curriculum ” is all about critical race theory and  LGBTQIA+.  It is important for families to be informed and speak up.  Not only is it infringing on parents’rights to discuss these matters with their children when they feel it’s appropriate, it is exposing kindergarten students to things like riots, hate, racism, death, gender identity and more.  Be sure to attend the parent nights to look at the new program that is being pushed and ask questions. 1. while my kids were in public school for many years I would be one of a couple of parents who regularly showed up at board meeting and spoke my piece about what I thought the issues and solutions should be. no matter how bad the issue was I never saw more then a handful of other parents there expressing their thoughts. so you can say what you want but until the parents effectively shut this bullsh!t down, nothing is ever gonna stop! so the parents are the ones who are really at fault here! cant blame a snake for biting you, after all that’s what they do!
predicting a lot of brainwashed incels in their future!

    1. Dear readers,

5:33 is completely correct. Further, it’s interesting to me that Prince Street is one of he meeting sites. Mr. Miller will apparently do anything to be in the limelight.

  2. Most of the parents don’t give a rats ass about what goes on in the schools. It gets the kids out of their hair for several hours a day and like the hokey pokey, that’s what it’s all about.

  3. In looking at this online and researching I’m not seeing what makes fishtank the standout program. The lessons aren’t even lessons. Has anyone looked at the reviews on ed reports for teacher usability? Why would we choose something that didn’t get approved by ed reports. Teacher usability is red. Isn’t it supposed to be green if we are using this program? I’m confused. Why is this the chosen curriculum? I’m thinking that if we want a top notch curriculum, teachers should be able to use it. Are there other curriculum choices that aren’t red?
