Since the beginning of the Russia tantrum, USA has sent resourcing for military, security and humanitarian aid. The majority includes goods/services, supplies, equipment and people. People to train the Ukraines how to use the equipment. With some of the equipment not at full capacity – meaning all the bells and whistles don’t work for all out war. The minority is financial. We have not asked for reimbursement with Ukraine financial aid since the early 2000s. We won’t during the tantrum either. We have been the largest contributor of aid, but many nations have helped.
During the Iraqi war, there were days the USA was spending at least 1 billion a day and that lasted the better part of 6 months. Easy math 180 days at a Billion is 180 Billion. That does not include the 100s of millions we gave to the iraqis and others to rebuild.
How did that turn our for us! Its both parties and CONgress that have dug the hole we are in. It took decades to take place.
The next 2 presidents will only slow down the bleeding and allow the USA healing take place. Actually the next 2 presidents will have to take us down a dark road with drastic changes so we can heal. Drastic changes means big cuts. TV news nor half of spoiled snowflake Americans will like that.
