Former President Jimmy Carter, 98, will receive Hospice care following a string of hospital visits, the Carter Center announced Saturday.
“After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention,” the Carter Center stated.
The center added, “He has the full support of his family and his medical team. The Carter family asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his many admirers.”
I never thought he was a great President, but I do think he was a great humanitarian and Christian. God bless sir.
Every president should be like him !! Not the Corrupt ones of today !!
He will go to HEAVEN !!!! He has been a Good Man !!!
So sad great president when I think back to how he was treated when first in office all the jokes about his peanut farmer brother but he turned out to be a great Christian man who lived by example all his life. He was a peace keeper and we could use more of that a return to the USA being the best country and strongest we can be . A world leader once again. Thanks for the memories President Carter.
i agree with all the above and i am a die hard republican
Not a good president but a good, decent human being.
