Public schools are failing all over the country. States like Illinois and Maryland have barely any students performing at grade level.
Schools seem more concerned with pushing woke garbage about ‘equity’ than teaching basic skills.
Despite all of these problems, far left crank Bernie Sanders is demanding more money for teachers. He wants a minimum salary of 60K for all teachers.

If it’s federally mandated, then get rid of the Teachers’ Unions!

If SANDERS and the DEMON DEMOCRATS wants $60,000salary for TEACHERS then they must have a minimum 60% proficiency rate for all STUDENTS. If they don’t then their pay is reduced by every % point they are under.. They work maybe 6 months out of the year so they have to preform or lose money.
