That it is possible to graduate from a highly accredited university with a degree in economics and yet be so fundamentally clueless about the subject is a sad testimony on the state of American higher education today.
Case in point: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The self-described Democratic socialist has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston University, but she’s anti-business, anti-corporate, anti-economic growth, and anti-capitalistic, as evidenced by her campaign to prevent Amazon from building a second headquarters campus near her New York district, thus depriving the region of 25,000 jobs (that surely would have grown as the campus grew.
And now, businesses in the area that were irreparably harmed by Amazon’s decision to pull out of New York and build instead in Virginia are really hurting thanks to Mayor Bill de Dum-Dum, another socialist, who has kept his city on perpetual COVID lockdown since the spring.
What’s the complaint here? Even if the Amazon deal went through, the construction wouldn’t be anywhere near finished at this point.
Not one ounce of sympathy from me.. you idiots in queens got what you voted for pure s#$t for brains representation. Just dont move stay where you are…that way when liberty tree watering time comes. The district that are cancers of this nation will be easily found and sugurically removed.
