Armed Robber Is Shot By A Customer While Attempting To Rob A Nearby Store. The Robber’s Family Is Incensed And Makes An Absurd Request

This young man surely didn’t make the best choices in life. A. White, 18-year-old from Alabama, proved this once again when he tried to rob a local Dollar Store while he was out on bond for a shooting.

While trying to rob the store, there was a good Samaritan who was also shopping at the Family Dollar store at the time.

When the unnamed good Samaritan noticed a masked gunman, he knew he should take an action.

“He had the gun to his head. He had him on his knees,” the man recalled, describing the scene that played out in front of him involving White and the employee. “I drew my gun on him and I said, ‘Hey don’t move.’”

White didn’t listen. As the good Samaritan recalled, “At that point, he swung around, and before he had a chance to aim the gun at me, I fired.” Although he “didn’t want to shoot him,” the concealed carrying savior pumped out five rounds, dropping the would-be robber to the ground. Those five rounds struck White in undisclosed locations, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.

  1. The family wants to know if it’s necessary? Kid has on a mask, has a gun pointed at a person’s head and the family asks if the shooting was necessary? AND, he had priors?

Sounds to me like the family needs to re-evaluate their parenting ( or lack of)

  2. While, this ended up with all participants surviving, the shooter needs a little more training in shot placement…

The repeat criminal should NOT EVER be allowed to be free again!

  3. If you go in with a gun in hand and a mask on attempting to rob or worse, you deserve what happens to you. More people are CCW holders for this very reason. While the first line of defense is to retreat, you do have a right to defend yourself and those around you. This person chose to stop a threat as was his right. The perpetrator lost all rights when he walked in with the mask on and gun in hand. Bad choices have bad consequences!
