  1. Since BARRY TILGHMAN SALISBURY has been destroyed. Their is NO reason to go DOWNTOWN. There is NO BSINESSES and no parking close yo where you want to go. GOOD LUCK WITH THE DRUG DEALERS AND HOMELESS. The POLICE don’t even go downtown. The events that are downtown nobody feel safe with all the GANGS.. There are no parking for the LAWYERS. They should move out and to a safer area for their customers to park safely.

SALISBURY the big GHETTO for all the HOMEBOYS to rent or buy very cheap then destroy them by letting the properties disintegrate to a dump

  2. Interesting Monster

I go downtown regularly. Had dinner at Mogan’s on Tuesday and almost had to wait to get a table! While there I witnessed at least 6 people getting ice cream next door, on a Tuesday in January at 7pm no less! Yesterday I visited Kaiju records and found some cool vinyl gems for my growing collection. Had a great conversation with the very friendly owner and lots of pets for the store mascot. Over the holidays I found some awesome gifts by local artists/artisans for shop local weekend. Roadie Joe’s is doing very well, more people are moving down there, crime is actually pretty low despite the naysayers. If you don’t like downtown for whatever reason, don’t go! But please stop attempting to spread blatant falsehoods. Those of us who know better will continue to enjoy downtown, free of your negativity.

    1. It’s not about downtown. It’s about Devreco stealing the building for $85000 for a supposed entertainment venue, turning it into an office and now trying to lease it for $144000 a year!

      1. I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, this thread was hijacked by the usual diatribe of a handful of downtown naysayers. The point of my post was to counter that with some truth about downtown and bring a little balance to the conversation. Now, on to the topic at hand.

This was a backroom deal from the get-go. It smelled bad from the start. Classic good ole boy favoritism. HQ Live was doomed from the beginning. While well intentioned, it was a bad business model destined to fail. Now, a great historic building sits empty once again.
