Quiet weekend preparing for next weeks “SUNFEST”. Big tents are up at the inlet, weather looks fine this weekend, cooler early next week and 60 Sunny for “SUNFEST”
Lets get “SUNFEST” correctly back on the calendar – where out of towners who could rely on a consistent calendar date can plan properly. No City Crew, they don’t look at the local calendars or see the few PSAs about this years change. I predict less of a crowd than with our car folks last weekend. Sunday noon – it was hard to find cars still in town. Zero on Monday when the “SPECIAL EVENT” speed limit ended and the original signs went back up. Love to see the receipt take-in for the 4 days. Suspect less than planned.
Gonna be a very quiet winter – but I digress. Quiet weekend and bourbon.
