At this very moment traffic is stopped on Rt. 113 in Worcester County for one bicycle. We are using our resources to provide safety for a Wicomico County and Salisbury University event. These people go around and spray pain on our roads year after year to let these cyclists know where to turn without a permit and it looks like crap. Take your event and shove it. Stay in your county. We have a cruiser event this weekend and our roads are backed up enough.
Bikes., 3 wheelers, motorized wheel chairs have no place on roads.

Most of these idiots are from the EAST COAST and not from Salisbury / Wicomico County. They have the MENTALITY THAT THEY OWN THE ROAD during this event just because they bring in thousands of dollars for a failed institution that ALUMNI refuses to donate money to their ALUMNI ENDOWMNET FUND. Wicomico County don’t want them on our roads. These nuts ride all over the road and show NO courtesy or respect for others nor rules of the road. They should be charged for their violations for not obeying road signs, stop lights and yield signs. The cut off drivers and ride between vehicles. All these bikers / vehicles should be made to be registered through MVA the same as 4wheelers since they are using the roads and not paying TAXAES for road upkeep.
I lived for 10 years on the roads they had marked and they would not ley me out of my drive and leave my road to get any where. SU should have to pay the COUNTY for all expenses for POLICE and EMS and give every property owner a hundred dollars for being confined for a day. Why does it always have to be during the summer when people do not want to be forced to stay home?

Where is the $50 dollar excise fee for every bicycle / vehicle used / entered entered in this BS event for the PRIVILEDGE. This FEE would go to MVA only for road up keep just like the GAS TAX we have to pay. This is above and beyond the POLICE and EMS COST that should be taken out of the entry fee
The ELITE wants an event for themselves and does not help the community, then they should pay. For you all that says it helps the community then tell me what it does.
