Doctor Surprised as Patient Refuses to Receive Blood Transfusion if Donor had been Vaccinated Against COVID-19

On Sunday, Dr. Stephanie Cooper shared on her Twitter followers that she was surprised when one of her patients declined to receive a blood transfusion if the donor had been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Dr. Stephanie Cooper is a Calgary-trained Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with Alberta Health Services.

“So- this was a first for me. A patient declined blood transfusion if the donor had received a covid vaccination,” she wrote.

Another doctor replied and expressed the same sentiment, “Sadly, we’ve had a couple of patients here with the same beliefs.”

  1. Smart patient and all should be asking the same, this is a thousand times better than face masks which are no good.

  2. Nothing new. Jehovah’s Witnesses refuse all blood products and Hospitals have Cell Saver technology to try to suck up their blood loss and recycle it. Never ends well. I am surprised Doctors tolerate it. Go to a Voodoo Witch Doctor if your beliefs deny you having men of Science try and save your life.

  3. Now it’s the vaccinated folks turn to be discriminated against. Round them all up and put them in internment camps!

  4. I completely agree with that patient! I have often said that I would not want to be given blood for fear it would be from a covid vaccinated person.

  5. I am 13 weeks pregnant and was just dismissed and refused treatment because I stated the same. The same people that told you the vaccine is safe and effective and you wouldn’t get Covid if you got it ( boy were they wrong) now tell you the blood with the spike protein is safe…sure I will not believe that thank you. It’s disgusting that your wishes for your own body don’t matter

  6. What is surprising about that? I would do the same thing. If you were smart enough not to take that poison vaccine, then you certainly don’t want the blood from a donor who did take it.

  7. Any transfusion should be denied unless it is a relative and they know the history . At this stage of what we now know of Covid and all the vaccines & monoclonol infusions they can destroy your life,.I know and I advise from what I have been through it is best to refuse.
