Maryland governor is possible 2024 GOP presidential contender
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan makes the case for his version of the future of the nationalRepublican Party in a video being released Monday by his national advocacy organization, An America United, as speculation continues to swirl about whether he will run for president in 2024.
The video, first obtained by Fox News, is adapted from a speech Hogan gave on Nov. 16 at the Reagan Foundation. It comes at a time when, with President Trump having lost the presidential election but denying the results and saying that he might run again in 2024, the Republican Party is forced to grapple with just how much of a role it wants Trump to play in its future.
“As Reagan said, we are once again at a time for choosing. Are we going to be a party that can’t win national elections or are we doing to do the hard work of building a durable coalition that will shape our nation’s destiny?” Hogan said. “I’m a guy who tells it like it is. So here’s a truth that our party needs to hear: No one will listen to our message if they don’t believe we’re listening to them.”
What an ego. What makes this moron think that Trump’s base would support him? And where does he get the idea that the Soros people would allow him to become president?

Hogan has clearly demonstrated in the eyes of many that he does not possess true and needed leadership traits and qualities required of a strong Republican leader. In lieu of privately communicating differences and having discussions with President Trump, he chooses to act them out publicly. Even the worst of the Democrats know better than to publicly disparage and malign a Democrat President. He talks about civility and unity, and then openly indicates voting for a deceased President. Such action indicates a level of immaturity that is not needed nor desired in a responsible leader.
In addition, the test fiasco, and his continued asinine actions and restrictions placed on small businesses definitely reflect a lack of courage and awareness of the consequences of his actions. He needs to look at some of his Republican colleagues’ leadership, i.e., the Governor’s of Florida, South Dakota, South Carolina and Texas for guidance. In conclusion, he lacks the integrity, loyalty, courage, and the full understanding of our Constitutional rights, particularly the Second Amendment, to even be considered remotely as a candidate for the Presidency of our Country.

Larry Hogan tweeted Donald Trump to concede. In that moment I lost what little respect I had left of him. All the fraud and corruption and lack of GOP support for Trumps presidency has convinced me another form of GOP needs to emerge. And I think it will whether or not Trump prevails (and I REALLY hope he does) because too many supported him and believe in America – not China.

Voted for him twice for the simple reason that he’d almost certainly be better than either of his SocialistDemocrat opponents. Larry has made that a narrower and narrower call as 2020 has rolled along.
He could have chosen to keep his ample pie hole shut regarding differences he has with President Trump, but his ego now eclipses his waistline. McCain, Romney, Hogan; media darlings as long as they are undercutting MAGA and Republicans but like lots of quickie weddings the honeymoon will be short and the outcome predictable.
