Old-time locals are funny and stubborn. They’d rather hold on to the property and let it ROT. It’s the same with cars and vintage farm equipment is all rotting and you show interest in buying and they think they really have something to hold on to and watch rust away. Some don’t even know what a good offer is. Fine, it’s your junk. Hope you get fined soon for your mess polluting the water table on what amounts to an illegal Junk Yard. They think it’s a legacy but their kids will not even be able to afford to clean up after them and pay their back taxes.
here in Salisbury you pay less taxes if you let it sit and rot quite a few of them owned by the same family
