US Workers Have Lost $3,400 In Annual Wages Due To Biden’s Inflation – “Crushing The Middle Class”

Inflation exploded in June with the inflation rate increasing 9.1% year over year.

This was the biggest increase since February 1981.

BLS:

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 1.3 percent in June on a seasonally adjusted basis after rising 1.0 percent in May, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 9.1 percent before seasonal adjustment.

The increase was broad-based, with the indexes for gasoline, shelter, and food being the largest contributors. The energy index rose 7.5 percent over the month and contributed nearly half of the all items increase, with the gasoline index rising 11.2 percent and the other major component indexes also rising. The food index rose 1.0 percent in June, as did the food at home index.

  1. While all of the welfare recipients got their EBT cards upgraded – so they don’t feel most of it!

    Abso-freakin-lutely criminal!

    1. Haitians come unto Sams club in Salisbury Maryland with several EBT cards…

      each card allows
1 thousand dollars of food to be bought… the one Homie has 7 EBT cards with 1,000 dollars on each one…

WHO IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT is issuing these out ???

  2. If 3,400 dollars is that big a deal you are not middle class and probably qualify for assistance yourself.

  3. Concerned Retiree

3:26 You need to check the qualifications. I am hurting from these inflation numbers. I am retired and 70 years old. I have to limit my groceries, limit my gas purchases to go to DR appointments, get medications groceries, pay my utilities and more. You must be one of those with a retirement of $60,000 or making $70,000 a year.

NO I don’t qualify because they say I make 200 to much. Let me see you live on less than $20,000 a year.

  4. Since the Democrats in Congress and the PRESIDENT can’t figure out on how to stop inflation then I have a proposal That would work and cut government spending. All Politians from the President down including his appointed ones. They should be mandated to take a 10% pay cut and 10% benefit cut and when the inflation increased their cuts should be raised equally . This should also be penalized the same amount on all the wealth they and their family has accumulated since they were first entered politics until inflation ends plus 10 Years. They should be penalized equal and more than the citizens since they increase spending / taxes on the middle class while they increase their wealth.

There will be a solution found by them real quick.

  5. There is always talk of cutting social security and medicare, etc. but I never hear anything about cutting welfare!! Those of us who have worked our entire lives deserve to eat as well as those who never worked a day in their lives. It is so unfair. The very ones who never paid a red cent into the system, are the very ones with a liplock on the public spigot.

  6. We shouldn’t have to worry about Social Security running out of money for a long time since the covid took out so many old people that were drawing their hard earned monthly payment.

  7. Hey 3:26………………you are probably as poverty stricken as the rest of us under the phony Biden administration, but your comment makes you sound like a big shot anyway. It’s good for your ego.
