The Supreme Court has sided with the state of Mississippi and overturned Roe v. Wade.
The opinion was written by Justice Samuel Alito.
Alito asserted that Roe was “egregiously wrong” and “on a collision course with the Constitution from the day it was decided.”
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote. “Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division.”
Laws related to abortion will now be returned to the states to decide.
Justice Alito added that the Roe court “usurped the power to address a question of profound moral and social importance that the Constitution unequivocally leaves for the people.”
Feelings and beliefs rule everyone when the majority is in charge.

SCOTUS got this one right – it was not in the constitution or an amendment – it belongs to the states.
The people of the states can now decide what happens within that state.
Hopefully, this will cancel all government funding of Planned Parenthood! Taxpayers should NOT be paying for abortions!
It only remains to be seen which states become the go-to destinations for the removal and elimination of inconvenient fetuses.

We can’t regulate our borders the drug trade or illegal arms this will just return abortion to a profitable illegal activity with more barbaric demises for fetus and mother. Abortion is not going anywhere. We can now feel better that it’s no longer the law of the land and relieve our consciences that we are not complicit in it but that’s how we address most issues.
