Anything the teachers union touches has historically degraded education in exchange for political control. The mafia influence of the National Education Association (NEA), Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) and the Wicomico County Education Association (WCEA) has kept schools closed, children masked, pushed mandates, controlled administrations, bullied school boards, influenced curriculum, and trained its members to push activism in the classroom. And it’s all going beyond their role as a union, because we’ve allowed them to. Outside of any school, why should the union interfere with government? No reason but political control.
Below is an email from the WCEA President that was sent to all Wicomico County teachers, sent through the taxpayer-sponsored email system (@wcboe.org email addresses) with the union endorsement for the following candidates. These Democratic individuals who gladly accepted, will carry out the political agenda of the union by placing the union’s political interests before the citizens of Wicomico.
I see these signs in the same yards where the Clinton and Biden signs were.
There are still people that are stupid enough to vote for the destruction of our country!
Quite sad!

They are all losers. Not what I want for Wicomico county
It’s a good way of telling us who NOT to vote for!

They are all swamp picks and slum lords that is all we ever have.
If you want to know more about George Demko, go into back issues of the Daily Time and read the many, many letters to the editor that he wrote over a period of years. He hates every thing that conservatives and Republicans stand for. His son is or may be still employed by The Daily Times.. David Plotts is a completely different story. Yes, he has served on several committees. But, if you ask people who served with him on the committees — He never said a word. When he ran four years ago, there were two tv interview and five public forums. He never showed for any of them. So far there has been two public forums and he has been a no show.
In the words of Richard Pryor: vote none of thee above.
