High Tide in the inlet is after 10am, which means FISHING today and lookin forward to cooler weather over the weekend and early next week.
Bourbon, clams, mussels and brisket weekend! Clams/mussels from the Assawoman Bay (since I won’t catch any fish), slow cooked brisket tomorrow and relax on Sunday listening to my scanner on the boat. Seems the good entertainment happens on Sunday evenings around this time of the year.
The next holiday on the calendar – Monday July 4th. Talk about a weekend of entertainment – the entire week will be enjoyable to watch! Enter tourists, exit June Bugs!

Buddy at SHA just sent a text that traffic before the bay bridge is getting heavy. Could be an interesting weekend on the island…and with cooler temps. More folks, cooler temps, drinking and still minimal hospitality help.
