A new study has found that around 20 million acres of U.S. cropland might be contaminated by polyfluoroalkyl substances present in sewage sludge used as fertilizer.
Polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, are a set of human-developed chemical substances used for a variety of consumer and industrial applications, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
Used to make water-resistant and heat-resistant products, these substances do not decompose quickly and are present in the soil, water, air and in the bodies of humans and animals, the FDA says.
It’s all part of this evil administration that we have in the White House. Trying to shut farmers down.
Hey, theres LOTS of farmland here in the DELMARVA not being used this year. More than last year. Tainting it on years of abuse on fertilizer….C’mon man. Theres gonna many long years ahead until theres light at the end of the tunnel. The bickering must stop. It wont so it will go on and on and on until eventually another NATION will need to bail us out.
Prob with that, all nations love when bail them out but wont in return. Next gens better forget college degrees and get back to the trades to think about surviving.
I see where this going, lock down farmland to create a false food shortage. Actually untreated human waste is not permitted as fertilizer.
