hi joe .its friday and im still pissed at what happened at the civic center after the worwic graduation ceremony. my daughter graduated and of course my family and all the other families were very proud. it was a very nice evening and was attended by mr psota and county council members (much appreciated). however, when everyone exited the normandy room, we of course with other families planned on pictures in the lobby. well that didn’t happen. civic center staff told everyone to get out. they didn’t just ask us, they were very very demanding. everyone had only been there for a few minutes. they did not ask everyone in a polite manner, they said GET OUT. for the sacrifices that the families and students have made to get these sheepskins we thought it was extremely rude for everyone to be told to get out now. worwic needs a new venue for the next graduation ceremony and the civic center staff needs to undergo training and they need to evaluate policies.
This is what happens when you put a LGBT supporter in charge. This place is like the other county departments. Large annual salaries for the big wigs and crumbs for the maintenance staff. As far as the counties 66k salary study it is still pick and choose who gets the big increases .If the increase is to low, department heads just change the job title and increase the salary and this is a fact! Council members need to toss the results from the study out and a flat percentage given to everyone.
And can someone please tell me what the h*ll Chuck Rousseau does for that 90k plus salary he draws besides watch video cameras, Go to lunch with the weathered bleach blonde or talk baseball with the 84 k a year hot dog cooker. Council needs to drain the swamp at the civic center.
