Considering tensions between Russia and Ukraine are escalating to a fever pitch as we speak, the fact that Freedom Convoy protesters are showing no signs of stopping, the left/media aren’t giving up on trying to cancel podcaster Joe Rogan, and all the speculation surrounding who President Biden will nominate to replace Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, stories about “Let’s Go, Brandon” sightings across the United States have understandably been moved to the back burner.
But that doesn’t mean they haven’t been happening.
The most recent instance comes courtesy of where the “Let’s Go, Brandon” meme all started – at a NASCAR race. In this instance, Sunday’s Daytona 500 race was the scene of more anti-Joe Biden sloganeering, as a Fox 35 Orlando reporter found out the hard way during a live broadcast where the curse-word version of “Let’s go, Brandon” made an appearance.
“What are you going to sign on that finish line?” the reporter inquired after asking how one fan was doing.
“What do you think I’m going to sign?” the fan stated. “I’m going to sign ‘F*** Joe Biden’!”
The panicked reporter quickly pivoted away to another fan dressed in an American flag shirt who said he’d already signed it and who also indicated to the reporter that what he had written was “not clean.”
Watch:
As we previously reported, the “Let’s go Brandon” chant originated after a NASCAR race last fall at Talladega Superspeedway that saw driver Brandon Brown take the checkered flag. As he was being interviewed, “F*** Joe Biden” chants could be heard in the background, as has been the case at numerous sporting events over the last several months. NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast, who was interviewing him, laughably suggested that the fans in attendance were chanting “Let’s go, Brandon,” even though it was obvious they were chanting something else.
