Chuck Grassley On Clinton Campaign: Spied On Trump, The American People Should Be As Outraged As I Am

Chuck Grassley Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is not mincing words when it comes to the latest news that Special Counsel John Durham recently alleged in court filings that lawyers for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign paid a tech company to “infiltrate” internet servers belonging to Trump Tower and the Trump White House in an effort to establish a “narrative” linking President Donald Trump to Russia. On Tuesday, Grassley accused Clinton of spying on then-candidate Trump and abusing her connections in government to continue the surveillance once he was inaugurated.

On Sunday, The Daily Wire reported that Durham’s revelation was “made in a court filing late last week that centered on potential conflicts of interest connected to the representation of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman, who has been charged with allegedly lying to the FBI”: The filing says that Sussman and the tech executive had met and been in contact with another lawyer who was working for the Clinton campaign.

The filing says that during the summer of 2016, the tech executive worked with Sussman, an investigative firm retained by a law firm on behalf of the Clinton campaign, and employees at tech companies to gather “data.”

  1. The American people seem to be appropriately angry. It is the politicians who don’t seem to care. But most of them were probably in on the spying or the steal.
