Julie Giordano shamefully uses the county council “Public Comments” to pimp her campaign! She tried to make it sound like municipal governments, parents, teachers, small business owners, correctional officers, public works, firefighters, EMTs, deputies and “concerned citizens, etc. support her! How misleading. She wants the people to think that these groups of people she mentioned supports her and she is going to be their savior! She is being spoon fed and led around on a leash by the one and only Nicole Acle who thinks she is going to be the next State Delegate! Julie mentions that “our teachers are 2 steps behind.” She failed to mention that teachers are some of the highest paid employees in Wicomico County. A group that is protected by a teachers Union and state law! A group that WILL get caught up WITH back pay! A group that doesn’t lose pay due to furloughs like county, state and city employees! She mentions that correctional officers haven’t gotten a pay raise in 12 years! That’s the most laughable lie she spoke. It’s true that correctional officers are under paid but she should have done her homework before she misspoke! EMT’s that are ready to quit! Another laughable quote! If she would have done her homework she could have easily found out that “EMT’s” are NOT county employees, they are volunteers and EMT’s for the local, independent volunteer fire companies! Again, if she would have done her homework she would have discovered that the issue is with a lack of qualified PARAMEDICS in Wicomico County, not EMT’s! EMT’s are a dime a dozen where Paramedics are highly trained and in demand across the country! She would have found that the fact that these paramedics are NOT county employees IS THE PROBLEM!!! One thing that she got right is that “this is an important election” in Wicomico County and we desperately need a good candidate to step up to the plate! NOT Julie Giordano, NOT John Psota, NOT Carl “Cornbread” Anderton and NOT Ernie “Sleepy” Davis!

Unless a different real good Republican candidate shows up to run, Acting Executive John Psota is the most experienced and qualified for the job… and will most likely get elected to retain that post.
Although the writer makes great points in their comments, the local politics will most likely NOT consider them… This election as all about maintaining the status quo of people lining their pockets through taxpayer funding….
What qualifications does John Psota have? Being a State Trooper and a low ranking one at that. The State Police was glad when he left.

Julie is always negative. I want to hear positive comments. You do not make friends by bashing people. Voters want to hear about your accomplishments. Wave your own flag – don’t tear down others. But, does she have any accomplishments? This could also be applied to some people seeking BOE seats.

Well I’m no fan of Ms. Julie by no means and if I have to choose between her of Psota it’s a no brainer! Psota can GTH!!
Psota wants that 46% salary increase and could give a $hit about county employees or county taxpayers.
I say get rid of the C.E. bullshit! Hopefully Cannon, Hastings and Mccain will exit with Psota and make everyone happy.
Forget the following: Julie Giordano,Carl Anderton,John Psota,Ernie Davis they are all the same wokes you don’t want, just talking heads, bobble heads is more accurate. Real leadership is Wayne King for County Executive he is the voice of reason, common sense, someone to lead this county in the real direction. That is cutting crime drastically, getting businesses back to Salisbury & the county. Fixing the hodgepodge of roads fixed in our lifetime NOW. Children back in school with real teachers & real direction. Jobs to those who really want to work not handouts. Getting control of our nasty Wicomico River cleaned up. Giving teachers & students a county to exceed in a path to good citizenship and leaders to a better more productive county and leaders in Maryland that the other counties will want to copy. Improve our parks & recreation areas. Wayne King can make us number one and once again a county everyone will want to move to. Remember VOTE KING!!!!
