New Virginia AG Fires 30 Staff Members Prior To Taking Office

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares fired 30 staff members, 17 of whom were attorneys, Friday, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Miyares was sworn into the position of Virginia Attorney General on Jan. 15 alongside Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

    While I expect that the terminations could be made by him after he was sworn-in – I don’t think he could actually fire anyone until after his taking office. He essentially gave them advance notice….

    This should be happening across the Commonwealth as there will be hidden deep-state figures throughout the local governments that will continue to hinder progress. As soon as that hindrance becomes known, additional terminations should take place!
