      1. It’s more widely known as Nepotism, not Mafia.

Just who is guy Perdue? I know they made a couple of hires from the Selbyville chicken plant but the operation mgr came from a job as as local church handyman and HIS boss was an ex OC bartender.

  1. Look out, here’s a Rick Pollitt moment!!!!!! Applications abound and politics are plentiful in OC. I wish I knew a fortune teller so I could see the outcome. HAHAHAHAH.

  2. Bartlett promoted to Transportation Mgr (from Operations Mgr). Req goes out for Operation AND Transportation Mgr. Bartlett retires on higher base pay cutting own deal leaving Miller responsible for budget (and Transportation committee) while nobody is responsible left to do anything. Has Miller been set up?

  3. Is it true that the Town is considering a $25/hr starting pay. Last year they bumped it to $20/hr but I see now that have gone back to competing with Fast Food.

  4. MISTER Miller has only 2 weeks following the new hires for Operations Manager as well as Transportation Manager, Hal Adkins, the Public Works director. Whatever the town council did to piss him off is yet be seen. However the struggling remains of ANYONE in OC left to take over the reigns of Transportation there or Town Manager does not exist. The problem now is how to recruit a new Town Manager after the legacy of musical chairs has existed for so long.
