No room at the inn – for unvaccinated: Catholic priest tells faithful parishioners who have refused to get jab for religious reasons they are NOT welcome at church for Christmas Mass

A Catholic priest and cable TV contributor has said that unvaccinated parishioners should not gather in church for Christmas Mass because ‘we owe one another the gift of peace’ as the nation copes with the new wave of COVID cases fueled by the Omicron variant.

Father Edward Beck, who is a religious commentator for CNN, said on Friday during a segment of the network’s New Day, that he believes all churches should require proof of vaccination.

‘There’s no supply chain shortage of love and compassion. I think what we are trying to say to people is that ”you have a social responsibility if you do gather.” You know Christian churches, many are gathering this evening, and some are still not requiring vaccination, which I disagree with,’ he said.

  1. Now he thinks he’s God. Who is a priest to ban people from going to church if they don’t measure up to his healthcare standards??

  2. Sounds like this priest needs to open his bible and actually pray about his attitude he also needs a personality lesson-open mouth insert foot doesn’t work!

  3. This situation is a parallel to the situation of the Salvation Army executive that proclaimed that white people need to apologize for their whiteness. I apologized for my whiteness by not contributing to any bell ringers for the for the first time in many years. As far as the church goes I would not allow them to participate in my check book.
