The Biden Administration is in disarray. We’ve seen how their policies have failed on so many levels.
Several of Kamala Harris’ staff have announced they are heading for the exits including four senior staffers — spokesperson Symone Sanders, communications director Ashley Etienne, director of press operations Peter Velz, and Vince Evans, deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. The reports termed Harris a “bully” who battered the staff with “constant-soul destroying criticism.” They even had one staffer post a creepy, hostage-type picture of how much he loved working for Harris after the staff was encouraged to do so.
But it turns out it’s not just Harris’ staff, Biden’s staff is also unhappy, complaining, and finger-pointing at the poor management with which they have to deal.
Some of them unburdened themselves anonymously to Politico. They revealed that morale was low, they lacked team spirit and they felt cut out of various events.
‘It’s also hypocritical and ironic that a president whose brand is built on empathy and family has staff policies that fly in the face of that brand,’ one staff member told the outlet.
‘It’s not a good look, and it’s emblematic of how this place runs.’
They said that staff was divided among Biden’s inner circle, who have been working with the 79-year-old president for decades, and those on the outside, who felt forgotten.
For example, they pointed out that most White House staff was only allowed to attend the July 4th celebrations if they worked the event as unpaid volunteers. Other events — like the turkey pardoning, the Christmas tree lighting, and tours of Christmas decorations — people got in based on a lottery system and many were left out. Meanwhile, DNC members and other D.C. folks are jumped into the events the staff couldn’t attend, leaving a bad taste in their mouths.
I can only imagine.
