Moderna says coronavirus vaccine 95% effective in trials

Moderna announced early Monday that its experimental coronavirus vaccine was 94.5% effective at protecting people from the novel illness.

Following Pfizer Inc.’s announcement last week that its vaccine candidate was testing at rates of 90% efficacy, Moderna’s vaccine becomes the second prospective vaccine that could be available to a limited portion of the American populous by year’s end.

“It’s extremely good news. If you look at the data, the numbers speak for themselves,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Disease and the public face of the government’s coronavirus response effort. “I said certainly a 90-plus-percent effective vaccine is possible, but I wasn’t counting on it.”

  1. Funny, they just had to all stop testing becasue it had bad effects on people just a week or two go… Hmmmm Interesting huh… How a vax takes years to produce to even be remotely safe, and you all want and will take this that has been slapped together in less than a year with no oversight??? and no way to sue anyone when you get jacked up???? Yeah all I can say is this was planned and started well before the plandemic (which is why the CARES ACT was passed to law well before the plandemic even happened) or this vax is unsafe! But hey I will watch all of you morinic salves rush to get yours and watch you get sick and maybe even die from it!!!

  2. A 90-95% effective vaccine for a disease that has a 99,94% survival rate? I’ll stick with Mother Nature on this one. Lift the lockdowns and let life go on.
