Donna Hanlin To Retire As Superintendent of Wicomico County Schools

Did We, (as a community) expose just enough information to force her to make such a decision? The community chose SBYNews to expose the parents disappointment in Wicomico County and once again you have prevailed. Don’t let the doors hit you in the ass on your way out in June!

  1. OMG – this is an answer to prayers. Senator MaryBeth Carozza, Delegates Carl Anderton and Wayne Hartman were contacted this week about her obnoxious behavior again Tuesday night when she refused to let us in at the Board of Education meeting. Even though 50% of your Wicomico county taxes go to the board , the countie’s hands are tied and they have no control over that bunch of morons. Take heart Donna – you are not the only one getting ready to be ousted !!!!!

Stay strong parents, teachers, grandparents and taxpayers. Don’t let up now. We have to take our kids back. Please be vigilant and support the efforts of few and at least show up for the meetings. You would be surprised and the disaster she has created.

  2. All the ones who are not fired should have a salary reduction of 50% along with all benefits until they start teaching the subjects that assist in the students the proper reading writing arithmetic and history

This nut case is leaving because she sees what is coming and getting out while the getting is in her favor.

The next one should be gone is the Health Dept Administrator, since they have immpossible regulations on drain fields for the ones of us in the country./ county

  3. next up donna hanlan 2, her protege Ricky Briggs another talk it to death do nothing liberal union bum!
the more things change the more they stay the same!

  4. The comment about the ridiculous septic system regulations is the worst thing that has ever happened to this county. So is mandatory sprinkler systems in all new homes. Both of these things make the cost of housing so much more expensive, but since when has the Wicomico County Health Dept. ever worried about that. If you buy a lotm, it takes forever to get a perk test done and even if it passes, they still make you put in an above ground lift system. The perk tests are simply a rip off money maker. This county has the most ridiculous zoning laws of anywhere in the state. The whole Health Dept. needs to be fired and hire some people with some common sense.

  5. Parents, teachers, students, and citizens…get on board! The Delmarva Parent Teacher Coalition worked tirelessly to expose the truth. The veil has been lifted, and the corrupt school system is naked before the people. We encourage you to join and be part of a BIG movement to take back and fix our schools. Membership is FREE and there are great things to come. It’s only the beginning. Fasten your seatbelts! http://www.delmarvaptc.org
