WASHINGTON, DC: Today, Wednesday, November 10th, Congressman Andy Harris, M.D., will meet with local watermen in Ocean City who have been negatively affected by the initial phases of the proposed offshore wind projects. Specifically, the watermen have been losing gear due to wind turbine survey operations taking place offshore, and recently, one fisherman even confronted a U.S. Wind vessel while conducting these operations.
Media are encouraged to attend for photos and interviews with Congressman Harris outside before the meeting. Additionally, after the meeting, watermen may make themselves available to the media. Full event details are below:

Closed to the press.
I guess no one will be explaining who will pay for the dismantling of these windmills when they reach their life expectancy of 10 years.
I was under the impression that tampering or destroying a fisherman’s fishing gear or pots was
subject to and $1000.00 per device fine or imprisonment. I guess if you are operating with the governments
permission its OK..
