SALISBURY – Officials say they want more feedback before approving plans for countywide water and sewer.
On Tuesday, George, Miles & Buhr (GMB) representative Katherine McAllister met with members of the Wicomico County Council to discuss a draft water and sewer master plan.
While the countywide plan was released late last month with a goal of receiving council’s approval, officials this week said they wanted more input before moving forward.
“I think this is the biggest thing that’s held the county back in terms of growth,” Councilman Josh Hastings said. “That being said, I want to make sure we have the right growth.”
In September, GMB representatives delivered their final draft of a water and sewer master plan, providing a roadmap of sorts for financing, constructing and maintaining a countywide system.
Josh Hastings is an idiot. He is putting more expense on the Homeowner. The Health Dept the last few years have mandated mounds in your yard for your septic system. 95% of these systems do not need a mound type system. These mounds have not been needed for decades and then an outsider from another area and takes over the Health Dept, approx 20 years ago, and she required and installed new regulations for an area she knew nothing about. Just another DEMOCRAT move to control the citizens.
This is another Government lie that is only needed in low lying areas not at every construction site.
Besides that is just more taxes / money for the incompetent County leaders to spend.
Hastings makes some Dumass liberal comments on every issue. Salisbury has become a pure $HIT hole! Just purge the crap and wastewater down Jim Iretons river for Cannon and Josh to canoe in and have a cocktail down at Wicomico creek.
The three democrats and rino cannon will vote this in. Fake day is salivating over this because of all the money the city will receive from annexing these areas for water and sewer.
