  1. Did not realize the BOE members needed that kind of attention..bet they are very busy these days libturds do poop allot. It due to that rectal inversion problem

    Sarc off

  2. If the child is not potty trained, they do not belong in school. It is not up to a teacher, teachers aide or nurse to change a diaper. It is up to the parents to have this training done before the child goes to school. time for parents to be parents and not expecting the schools to do it all.

    1. The reality is that a great many children are not only not potty trained, but there are a great many other basic parenting issues not addressed. A very significant number of children come to school with no knowledge of basic colors and shapes, how to play with others and socialize correctly, have no number sense or ability to count and recognize numbers at all, and have no recognition of very basic words. As a retired Kindergarten teacher, these are just very basic things all children should be able to do prior to entering Kindergarten. The reality is that in my final year, 74 of 96 lacked ALL of the above skills and more than half (57) had no toilet training. While the occasional accident does indeed occur at the Kindergarten level, in no way should it be a daily occurrence. That same year I attended a county meeting (K teachers from all of the county schools attend these regularly) and we were told that we would need to address the issue. When I voiced my concern and suggested that this would need to be an administrative issue, we were all told that would not occur. This happened in Wicomico County just before the pandemic. At that time I had more than enough time to retire, and did so immediately. Apparently my former position has yet to be filled – wonder if it had to do with potty trining?

  3. WTH are you sending your child to an indoctrination center at 3????? Wait until the very last minute, save your money in the meantime, and send them to a private school. Meanwhile, keep lobbying actively for school vouchers!
