Biden announced we need to put 9/11 behind us and move on
I had a very brief discussion with a very young 20 something this morning. We were waiting in line for coffee at DD, and a tv was on with news about 9/11 20 years ago. He remarked that while it was sad, we couldn’t go back in time and essentially, everyone needed to move on. A hush fell over the entire place and everyone quietly stared at him, including the staff of DD. Just silence. As he looked around at everyone starting at him, you could tell that he just didn’t get it and never would. THAT is the REAL shame. Many of our youth neither understand, nor want to understand our past and the sacrifice required so that they can live free.
Dunkin Donuts don’t have TVs. Don’t make up some strawman story to get mad at young people.
