President Joe Biden is under fire after appearing to look at his watch just seconds after a salute honoring the return of the 13 US servicemembers killed in Thursday’s ISIS-K suicide bombing in Kabul.
The president made the unannounced trip to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Sunday morning as the caskets of the 13 service members killed in the attack were brought back to the United States.
He stood in silence, his right hand to his chest, as a succession of flag draped transfer coffins were carried past him from a C-17 Globemaster plane.
Same he was even allowed to be in the same area as our “heros” Bless their families. Joe has to go.
This dumdass just doesn’t know how to act, when given responsibility.
The only people he cares about on planet Earth are Dr. Hill and Hunter, this just put more $ in their pockets. Will someone tell us how the residents of Delaware now feel about this family America would like to know. Always thought the marriage to Dr Jill was awful quick after the death of 1st wife and daughter, and then all the things Hunter has done and still exploiting himself now as an artist.

I’m disappointed that several R’s tweeted Saturday that Biden didn’t go to Dover. Laura Ingraham did the same thing.
Problem with that, BIden was in Dover on Sunday when OUR men came home to rest.

There were some inaccurate reports on Saturday that the deceased were not properly met in Dover. Uncertain in my mind is whether the reaction to those reports was the spur to round up a delegation? With this bunch it’s hard to say.
Along that line I read elsewhere a comment that the transfer was held up a bit because Biden had yet to arrive. Don’t know if that’s accurate, but he’s been late frequently to a variety of events.
IIRC, President Trump mostly/always met deceased service members without press corps in tow.
