Patriot Caravan Scares Swamp: DC Mayor Requires COVID-19 Testing For Travelers From 46-50 States

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced new COVID restrictions just as patriots declared they’d be descending on the nation’s capital.

Anyone entering the state must now be tested for COVID-19, unless coming from Maryland, Virginia, Hawaii or Vermont.

Bowser’s order requires incoming individuals to be tested for COVID-19 up to 72 hours before entering the state, but private businesses have been left with enforcement.

There will be no police checkpoints enforcing the “mandate” and instead,as NBC 4 reports, “Private institutions such as employers, universities, hotels and houses of worship may ask visitors about their recent travel and require proof of a negative COVID-19 test.”

This decree comes as Infowars’ Alex Jones, Owen Shroyer and others lead thousands of patriots in the “Stop The Steal” caravan set to travel from Austin, Texas to Washington, D.C.

The pro-Trump convoy will leave at 5 pm CST on Monday night and make its first stop in Houston, Texas by 8 pm CST.

  1. She’s trying to mitigate the spread of a deadly pandemic. Protesting where you are is one thing, but everyone traveling from all over the country and descending on DC is just being selfish and risking fate.
